2024-25 Club Membership

All swimmers will need to renew or register their membership before they are able to enter swim meets and continue training after their trial period.

The membership categories for this season are given below. The total fee includes an annual membership fee paid to Swimming Australia (SAL) and Swimming Northern Territory (SNT), and insurance for each registered swimmer. (this totals just less than $148 for 9 & over swimmers)

Please note each swimmer, under the age of 18, MUST have an active parent membership in their family group in order to be an active member. Swimmers will not be able to enter meets if a parent has not joined.

Palmerston Sharks - Parent /Guardian membership - 2024-25

It is MANDATORY that at least one Adult (parent or guardian) be registered per family where swimmers or members are under the age of 18.

This membership is for 'dry' parent / guardians of members under the age of 18 years

8 & under Palmerston Sharks Swimmer - 2024-25

For swimming members of the Palmerston and rural sharks aged 8 years and under. This membership allows members to participate in training, racing and other activities.

Swimmers will also be eligible to participate in inter-club, state and national carnivals and activities for which they qualify or are eligible as a member.

9 & over Palmerston Sharks Swimmer - 2024-25

9 & Over (incl. adult)

Swimming membership for all members who wish to train or compete with the Sharks swimming club.

Allows swimmers to participate in club activities as well as interclub, state and national activities for which they qualify or are eligible for.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

A Parent/Guardian MUST join and purchase the 2023-2024 Parent/Guardian membership if the swimmer is under 18 years of age. This is a Swimming NT and Swimming Australia requirement.
Membership Fees help pay for the Club’s expenses; these include affiliation fees paid to Swimming NT, lane hire at City of Palmerston Pools, Club Activities, end of season awards, equipment and Club expenses.
Membership fees do not cover all the Club’s expenses and we need to fund raise each year to meet the costs. The Club relies heavily on its parents, supporters and sponsors to help meet these costs.
